MadeByBrain in three sentences
MadeByBrain builds B.R.A.I.N., a personal AI system based on the open-source agent Hermes Agent by Nous Research. It prepares emails, meetings, knowledge and decisions and only acts after your approval. Client systems run on managed hosting with Mittwald in Germany; the server, the contract and the data belong to the client.

Our own operations first
Everything we offer runs first in our own B.R.A.I.N. on our own server. That is our lab. Only what has proven itself there runs for you.

Your server, your contract, your data
You book hosting and models directly with Mittwald in Germany, without markup. We set things up and maintain them; the infrastructure is yours.

Approval, not autopilot
B.R.A.I.N. prepares, you decide. Emails, meetings and external actions only go out once you approve them.

The foundation is open source. We publish our own extensions for free on GitHub.

- Founder Steffen Hartmann has run his own agency since 2003, under the name MadeByBrain since 2015 and with a focus on AI since 2023. He has also run his own product brand padRelax since 2011.
- With TrekFrame we run our own AI product for characters that stay the same person in every image. Our YouTube channel runs entirely on Steffen’s AI avatar and cloned voice.
Who is behind it
MadeByBrain was founded by Steffen Hartmann. He develops B.R.A.I.N. and sets up client systems himself. We work remotely and internationally.
Until 31 December 2026 your contracting party is Kayumari Consulting LLC (USA). From January 2027 your contracting party is in the EU (Portugal).

Does MadeByBrain still offer e-commerce or Amazon consulting?
